Chris Karatselios was admitted to practice in 1994. Prior to undertaking his articles with Corrs Chambers Westgarth, he worked with Price Waterhouse Coopers for two years in their corporate tax division. Since becoming admitted, Chris has worked:

for top tier and middle tier legal firms;
as an in-house legal consultant for Coles Myer Ltd; and
as a sole practitioner and legal consultant for a number of years.

During his career, Chris has represented many publicly listed companies, the State Government of Victoria, public utilities and large private companies on significant commercial and construction projects.

Chris joined GSM in September 2006. Chris is a business and commercial lawyer specialising in the areas of corporate and commercial law, business acquisitions and sales, property law and contract drafting. In addition, Chris specialises in the area of franchising law. Chris has acted for numerous franchisees wishing to purchase a franchised business from a variety of franchised systems. He has also acted for numerous established franchisors, as well as franchisors looking to establish their own franchise system, including the preparation of all documents required under the Franchising Code of Conduct.

Chris is a member of the Commercial Law Section (Business Law Committee) of the Law Institute of Victoria.
