Athanasia joined the firm in 2003 and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
She practices in all aspects of Family Law and also deals with children and property issues arising from the breakdown of domestic relationships (previously referred to as de facto relationships). She also advises as to how best to protect assets prior to and during a relationship, including cohabitation and binding financial agreements.
Her other areas of practice include insolvency law, debt recovery and contract enforcement and with a specific expertise in acting on behalf of judgment creditors in enforcing judgments through winding up and bankruptcy applications. Her litigation experience extends to all jurisdictions, including the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
